The belts and hoses on your vehicle can deteriorate over time. If you are noticing a problem with picking up speed, or you hear a squealing noise while driving, the issue might be caused from a belt that is getting loose. As they are made from rubber, belts and hoses eventually break down and will need to be replaced.

If you find a leak below your vehicle, there could be a hose that has come loose. You will want to have your vehicle inspected to see what is going on, as leaking fluid can wreak havoc. If a belt snaps suddenly while you are driving, this can make your car stop running.

Timing belts will last about 80,000 miles, and this is probably the most important belt on your vehicle. Bring your vehicle to our service center at Advantage Lincoln and have your vehicle inspected if you suspect any problems with your belts or hoses.
